Missing Person Investigations:
1996: Missing Person in British Columbia.

Retained by the father to locate his son who had been missing since June 1993. Our client suspected that he could be living in BC. The son had some mental health issues and had a history of admissions to Mental Health Hospital in Winnipeg, Brandon, Manitoba.
- After filing a missing person’s report in B.C, and numerous correspondence and many interviews with financial institutions, media, health care officials and police, he was found at a drop in centre in Nelson, B.C
1996: Adoption in Manitoba
- We were retained to locate the biological parents & birth siblings of our client. She was adopted in Manitoba in the 60’s and wished to make contact with her biological family for peace of mind.
- With her consent, we applied for the non-identifying characteristics with Child & Family Services, and obtained information about her family history.
- We found her biological parents to be living in Transcona. She had two brothers both who were living in Winnipeg.
1999: Located the mother in Quebec
- We were retained by the daughter to locate her elderly mother. She hadn’t been in contact with her mother for years but believed she was living in Chicago;
- The mother’s last known place of employer was interviewed but with no success;
- We verified no death certificates were filed in the United States;
- We discovered the mother was divorced in Quebec and we found her alive in Quebec.
2001: Beneficiary of An Estate in Montreal Quebec.
- We represented a major law firm required to find a beneficiary of an estate.
- We located the such person in Montreal Quebec with only a name and approximate age.
- We located the such person in Montreal Quebec with only a name and approximate age.
Witness in Africa:
- We represented a major law firm requiring to locate a witness for a cross examination and the witness was found in Africa.
2003: Missing Person in Winnipeg
- We represented the common-law spouse of a missing man from Scarborough, Ontario. He was suffering from depression.
- Within hours of being hired, we found the spouse in a hotel room in Winnipeg.
2004: Missing Person in Ontario
- We were retained by the mother to locate her daughter who went missing. The mother believed the daughter took off with her male friend who she knew to be living somewhere in Ontario. The daugther was found with friends in Allenford, Ontario.
2007:
- We were retained by a client in Phildelphia to locate her brother in Ottawa.
- We interviewed the owners of his previous address, and it was established he had passed away.
- We contacted the City of Ottawa to obtain information with respect to the Statement of Death. This is completed to obtain a burial permit in the City of Ottawa.
- We learned the name of the Funeral Chapel, and contacted them. We were advised of the date of death, and location.
- We ordered a copy of the Death Certificate in Ontario to confirm his death.
- We ordered a copy of the autopsy report from the Coroner to learn the cause of his death.
